Daniel R. Meylan, ARM - President
 Dan is currently the CEO of Western Pacific Insurance an insurance brokerage firm specializing in liability insurance for the residential home building industry. Throughout his insurance career Dan has focused on providing insurance products and services to commercial businesses. Beginning in 1973 with a bank owned insurance agency in a small western Missouri town, Dan has started four all-lines insurance agencies from scratch, acquired ten agencies, and sold four agencies at different times in his career.
During his career of 35 years, Dan served as a National
Accounts Producer for an international insurance broker, a wholesale insurance
broker, and a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the largest
privately held insurance broker in the USA. In this position as a Senior VP of Sales
and Marketing Dan, was responsible for 200 sales persons and in excess of $1B
of commercial insurance premiums sales. Prior to coming to Western Pacific Dan openned the Colorado branch of the Mahoney Group, a retail insurance brokerage headquartered in Arizona.
Dan started and built a multi state insurance brokerage operation for a bank
holding company that employed 35 people and generated $3.8M in annual revenues. Dan
has extensive experience with property and liability risks, high hazard
products liability insurance, workers compensation including self insurance, off-shore
captives, homogeneous insurance programs, insurance sales management, mergers
and acquisitions of retail property and casualty insurance agencies, insurance
agency operations, and bank insurance agency operations.
Dan and his wife Kathy have been married and serving the Lord together for
35 years. They have three children, Erica and Jordan in Colorado and son Andrew,
his wife Sara and three grandchildren, living in Kansas City. Dan is
the first Meylan born in the United States of Swiss parents who immigrated in
1946. All of Dan's extended family still lives in Switzerland. Dan and Kathy
are actively involved in a number small groups and ministries of New Life Church.
He is a founder of Weavers, Inc. Dan and his family are all avid skiers
or snowboarders. Dan and Kathy live north of Colorado Springs and enjoy
horseback riding, hiking and traveling. Dan is a private pilot with over 1,400 hours.
He has played soccer since he was five years old, through high school and college, and
recently retired from playing but still is an active certified referee.
Brian Cross - Vice President

Brian is currently working as a strategist and negotiator for a prominent investment banking firm in Denver, Colorado that enables their customers to acquire operating profitable businesses valued at $10M or more. For the past eight years Brian has owned a business brokerage firm that successfully marketed over 400 businesses in the Rocky Mountain Region. As
a direct result Brian has experienced the inner workings of 1,000+ privately held companies in virtually every industry segment. In the process of evaluating the marketability of each particular business, Brian has learned the typical strengths and weaknesses of small business, their operating systems, their financial stability, their growth opportunities and their competitive advantages or disadvantages. He has worked almost daily with financial institutions to get these acquisitions financed. He is also intimately familiar with the world of franchising, including the evaluation and sale of both existing and startup franchises. This extensive real world, current, practical experience allows Brian to lead and teach within the Weavers environment at a level far beyond
most college professors. He is driven by a desire to help both current and prospective business owners avoid making the same needless errors he sees over and over again. He has started writing a book based on his experiences that identifies the three critical components of operating a successful business.
Brian is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served his
country as an A-10 pilot. While at the Academy he was a First Team All-American
Collegiate Athlete. His time in the military, as well as his pursuit of
excellence as an aviator and an athlete taught him many principles that he
applies today in his personal life, his business life, and his teaching. He is a
licensed real estate agent, a licensed commercial and residential real estate
appraiser, and holds several different securities licenses. He has numerous years
of experience doing valuations on commercial and investment properties and
consults with property owners and municipalities regarding property tax issues.
Brian is a founder of Weavers. He has been happily married for 16 years and has
three children. He serves on the boards of a variety of non-profit, charitable
and civic organizations and is currently active in a number of men's ministries
at New Life Church in Colorado Springs.
Joe Schiff, CPA - Secretary Treasurer

Joe is currently a principal of Paragon Strategies, LLC consulting firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is currently engaged as part-time CFO/Consultant for a number of concerns. Joe has been an innovative financial and operations professional for the past 18 years. Joe formed and operated two manufacturing concerns and one service/distribution operation over this time. Joe specializes in working with management teams and professional partners to formulate and execute effective business strategies. Through his operational experience he has successfully managed a business with up to 50 employees and excelled at collaborative strategy initiatives, as well as, developing strategic controls and measurements for his concerns. Joe also has extensive experience with capital creation and organizational funding. He provides his clients with a full range of strategic planning management and financial services.
Joe is a licensed Colorado Certified Public Accountant, and he has been a member in good standing of the AICPA and Colorado Society of CPA's. He formerly served with Price Waterhouse Coopers practicing in a variety of capacities including tax, consulting, business planning, tax compliance, and emerging business areas.
