course overview
The first step in becoming a Weaver is to take the Business Training Course. The course is taught in a single semester consisting of 10 classes. The classes are conducted once a week in the evening and last 3.0 hours, usually from 6pm-9pm. Each section of the class will start with a teaching time and then the class will break up into groups with discussions to allow the students to gain further insight from each other on the evening's topics.
Each class focuses on building strong biblical based business knowledge and wisdom based on what really works from practical experience from seasoned business leaders. Additional reading for the business session will be "The E Myth Revisited" by Michael E. Gerber. The lessons will include the following topics:

- Legacy and Kingdom Impact God's master plan for your life and your business
- Christian Business Leadership Guidelines Nine essential biblical behaviors
- The core elements of every business an operational reality check
- The stages of business growth from survivor, to successful, to significant
- The "Compound Effect" The Exponential Power of Business Competency and Spiritual Maturity
- Financial Fundamentals The Power of the Penny; The Economic Value of Time; The Metrics of your Business
- Sales and Marketing The Product, the Process and the Politics
- Business Systems Organizational Structure and Strategy
- Business Plans Designing your "map"
- Business Financing How find, generate and use money as a tool
- People Issues The value of human capital
- Law, Government and Insurance Rules of the road
- Business as Ministry The testimony of service
The class is structured to produce complementary results in both spiritual growth and growth in business knowledge and wisdom. The class also provides each person with a business peer group that will pray with them, help them grow, and work through business challenges throughout the class on into the future.
